A Tree planting function was held on October 30, 2014 and over 200 fully grown saplings were planted by visiting dignitaries as well as the children. The saplings were provided through kind courtesy of the Forest Department. The District Forest Officer was the chief guest. Mr William Winfield, former Principal of Millhill High School, London who was responsible for initiating the partnerships with the schools in London during his tenure as Principal of Millhill, along with Mrs Margaret Winfield and  Mr Paul Bickerdike were the honoured guests.
