A free eye check-up camp was conducted, by Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli, at the school campus, on Friday, 03-07-2026 for students from Classes 1 to 10. Each student underwent an individual eye examination. A total of 373 students were screened during the camp. Out of the students examined, 10 were advised to wear spectacles. Among them, 3–4 students were already using spectacles, while the remaining students were advised to visit Aravind Eye Hospital after 15th July to obtain their prescribed spectacles. The teachers also underwent eye examinations as part of the camp. The camp was highly beneficial for both the students and the teachers by promoting awareness of eye health and facilitating early detection of vision problems.
