Gita Krishnamurthy Vidyalaya was set up in partnership between Gita Krishnamurthy Trust and Sri Jai Sankara Educational Trust. The latter runs Sri Jayendra Golden Jubilee School, a school whose motto is “To walk on a new path to touch new horizons”, is well known in Tamil Nadu for its academic results and extracurricular activities achievements. The teachers and staff of Jayendra school, led by its passionate and energetic principal, Mrs Usha Raman, have been instrumental in setting up and nurturing GKV school by supporting the latter’s teachers and students in academics as well as sports, music, dance, arts and crafts etc.
