Gita Krishnamurthy Trust (GKV) is recognized as a Charitable Trust by the Government of India and Income Tax Exemptions are available to donors under section 80(G). Being completely volunteer driven, GKT is a zero overhead trust . Therefore, 100% of the contributions are used towards the expenses of the school for holistic education of the children.
Contributions of any value large or small can be made in Indian Rupees or in a foreign currency .

Support one or more children

A contribution of just Rs 12,000 (US$ 150) will support the education of one child for one year. Donors can also sponsor a child with a one time contribution of Rs 200,000 (US$2500). This will pay for the education of a child from LKG through 10th grade.

Contribute towards school infrastructure.

Donations can also be made to improve the school’s infrastructure. We welcome contributions towards : 

  • Enhancement of the multipurpose conference hall with sound system and furniture - estimated cost Rs 6,75,000(US$ 8,000)
  • Computers (new or refurbished)
  • Books for the library
  • Software or other tools(such as science kits) to improve the learning experience
