On 2nd February, Pravin.D of class VIII took part in the RMKV Nellai Marathon 2025 organized by Nellai Runners Trust at Anna Stadium, Tirunelveli. He was among the boys and girls who finished the 5 km run within the prescribed time and received a medal. We wish him the very best to continue to pursue his passion in long distance running.
The 3rd South District Level Yoga, Archery, Carrom and Chess Championship 2025 organized by Sai Academy, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District was held at Vivekananda vidhyashram Matric Higher Secondary School, Vannarpettai on 8th February 2025.This is the second year, our students participated in this event. 34 students from classes 6 through 8 participated in the yoga competition. Our school was among the schools in the district that were awarded an achievement plaque based on the number of students who participated in the event and the quality of the yoga postures . We congratulate all the winners and participants.
On 9th February 2025 , Manikandan of class VI participated in the 3rd South district Yoga Championship 2025 organized by Maveeran Bhagat Singh Blood donation trust and Philips sports club & Ashoka sports club, held at Kovilpatti. He won the 1st prize in the yoga competition and was awarded a plaque and certificate.
The South District Art Festival Competition 2025 organized by Tamil Cultural & Sports Trust held at Unnamalai Institute of Technology, Kovilpatti on 23rd February 2025. Some of our students from class V to VIII participated in the Silambam competition and won prizes.
