GKV School was delighted to welcome Kavita Viswanath, SVP & India Country Lead, on the 9th of July,  along with the Toast India team, to Gita Krishnamurthy Vidyalaya for the inauguration of our newly enhanced Multi-Purpose Hall & Learning Centre. A free eye check-up camp was conducted,  by Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli, at the school campus,  on Friday, 03-07-2026 for students from Classes  1 to 10. Each student underwent an individual eye examination. A total of 373 students were screened during the camp. Out of the students examined, 10 were advised to wear spectacles. Among them, 3–4 students were already using spectacles, while the remaining students were advised to visit

We are very excited that two of our alumni have been awarded the Hemlata Foundation scholarship after a rigorous selection process. They both come from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds and will benefit immensely from the financial assistance, mentorship, career guidance and life skills programs that the scholarship entails.  We wish Gomathi and Nabeela  the very best in their graduate education and career goals !!
